Most days, I am walking through Portland’s houses.

Old Victorians, little capes, factory conversions, strange additions, bricked-up windows, and rooms that make you wonder what happened there in 1974.

A field guide to American architecture changed the way I see them. I started noticing rooflines, window shapes, building materials, and all the small details that explain why a house looks the way it does.

That curiosity became a huge part of the Logbook and a huge part of how I work in real estate.I help buyers understand what they are actually looking at, what is worth worrying about, and what makes a house genuinely special.

I help sellers decide what matters before listing and how to tell the story of their home without turning it into something it is not.I work throughout Portland and Greater Portland, but older homes are where I really light up.
