The Portland Logbook is my attempt to get people to fall in love with Portland.
It is part guide, part diary, part personal rabbit hole. I write about food, history, architecture, strange sightings, and whatever small detail stops me in my tracks.
Each week I pull together what is happening right now, what happened here before, and what deserves a second look. In your inbox every Tuesday.
Before The Portland Logbook, I wore a lot of hats...
I was a food stylist, a photographer, and worked in marketing. I even spent time behind the counter of a chocolate shop. All of it sharpened how I see things. How taste, design, and story come together.
Now I work in real estate, which means I spend most of my days walking through Portland’s houses and neighbourhoods. Old Victorians, factory conversions, tiny cottages, and everything in between. I see how people live here now, and I think about how others lived in those same rooms a century ago.
If you want to really know Portland, the meals, the streets, the history, the homes, you’re in the right place. And if buying or selling one of those homes is part of your story, reach out. I’ll happily meet you for a coffee at one of Portland’s best!
