I’m Jake. I live in Portland and I write The Portland Logbook. It’s part guide and part brain dump of whatever I think is worth paying attention to around here.
I’ve spent most of my life in food, photography, and branding. All of those jobs require staring at things until you understand what makes them good. Now I do the same thing with this city.
I’m not an expert or a historian. I just keep my ears open, write things down, and share what actually feels worth knowing. If you care about Portland, or you’re trying to learn how, you’ll fit right in.
